Formula 3: Kimiya Sato captures lead of the standings
Kimiya Sato dominated the ATS Formula 3 Cup at the Sachsenring. The Japanese clinched a commanding start-finish victory on Saturday and won the third race with the new Volkswagen power engine including the push-to-pass system as well. In the second race, the 22-year-old finished as the runner-up barely missing victory by 0.607 seconds. The maximum number of points in this case went to Rene Binder, who was thus able to celebrate his first win.
